World Cup 4 Poland

Image
Francesca Summers from North Kent MPC competed in the individual final of World Cup 4 in Poland.    She had a fantastic fence,  scoring 28Victories 7Defeats being four more victories than her nearest fencing rival. The fencing bonus round also gave her two more points.   Francesca's swim was a PB.  The ride unfortunately was another story at the double fence with a crash into the first fence and a spectacular fall over the second fence of the pair.   She recovered well to finish the ride but the damage was done and she started the laser/shoot in 20th place finally finishing 28th overall.   Unlucky day for a very plucky competitor.   Francesca's first big day is tantalisingly close. Other PGB womens' results:  Jo Muir - 10th and Sam Murray 18th.
